AUTUMN WINTER 2016

The Autumn Winter 2016 collection symbolizes a transition from the previous years and a shift in focus to a more tailored silhouette. The universe of Ingmar Bergman’s noir films serve as great inspiration and are visualized in the colour spectrum of black, white, grey, burgundy and dark brown.

Mark’s Chinese heritage lies very rooted in him and is reflected throughout this collection. His grandmother had a closet with hundreds of kimonos in the same shape, which is referenced in the silhouettes and the mandarin collars recurring across the collection.

All together there is a great contrast in materials and colour, giving this collection a decadent, high-end feel. The culture clash serves as a melting pot for the collection and especially in this time of great animosity it is important to remember, that some of the world’s greatest fortunes emerges from cultural differences.

As every season fabrics by manufacturer Kvadrat are an essential focal point.

This season, the beautifully designed jewelry collection by Orit Elhanati will also be present on the runway in great collaboration with the clothing collection.
